STORYLINE:
Construction work on a Chinese-invested Cambodia Upper Tatay Hydropower Station, with a designed capacity of 150 megawatts, has been over 30 percent completed so far.
On Thursday, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said the project will increase the reliable source of clean energy in Cambodia, contributing further to socioeconomic development and poverty reduction.
