Video of the major winter storm that smashed the eastern United States on Valentine's Day 2007. Here in Montgomery Village, Maryland we received about 5 inches of sleet. Areas east of DC such as Prince Georges and Anne Arundel Counties saw heavy freezing rain, which caused widespread power outages. Other states saw blizzard conditions and extremely heavy snow. We were lucky to get mostly sleet here in Montgomery County, as freezing rain is the most destructive type of precipitation.
