STORYLINE:
China's new policy to trial visa-free entry starting Friday for ordinary passport holders from Spain, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Malaysia has been hailed by foreign travelers.
From Dec. 1, 2023 to Nov. 30, 2024, holders of ordinary passports from the above six countries may enter China visa-free for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends and transit for no more than 15 days.
Glanz Klaus Peter is a German traveler who went to Jinan City, east China's Shandong Province, for a business trip. He arrived at the Kunming Changshui International Airport in China's Yunnan Province on Saturday for a flight transfer.
