A skilled artisan astounded locals by transforming discarded drink cans into stunning, usable pots in central China.

The video was filmed in Zhoucou City in Henan Province on November 27.

A craftsman expertly melted the aluminium cans, which weighed several kilograms, in a blazing furnace reaching a scorching 800 degrees Celsius.

This extraordinary process involved the meticulous melting of the cans into a molten liquid, which was then carefully poured into a mould.

The result was nothing short of a miracle - shimmering pots emerged, beautifully polished and honed to perfection.

This traditional craft, a precious relic of a bygone era, is increasingly rare and predominantly found in some remote rural areas of northern and eastern China.

On November 27, 2023, in Zhoukou, Henan, a skilled craftsman melted empty drink cans and made brand-new usable pots for his customers.

The craftsman tossed the cans that weighed several kilos into the fire and melted them into liquid at around 800 degrees Celsius. Then he poured the liquid into a mould and the pot shone after it was polished and honed.

This traditional craft is hard to see in China nowadays and it can usually be found in some rural regions of northern and eastern China.
