Ambleside Village, Cumbria, U.K. Slowly grinding to a halt. As the snow falls thick and fast.
This is the main street of Ambleside Village in Cumbria. Usually a hub of activity and full of people and vehicles. Notably on busy shopping weekends before Christmas. But, it is becoming deserted as tourists return to their accommodation or try to escape the area. The snow showed no mercy; we could literally see the white centimetres building up on walls, cars, doorsteps and fields. Most retailers closed and left their shops after the Amber weather warning was issued.
