Archive Footage as Disputes between Guyana and Venezuela over Essequibo announced in Caracas

The Venezuelan government this Sunday, December 3, called a referendum on the future of the Essequibo, a territory controlled by Guyana, but which Caracas considers as its own. Venezuelans approved the proposals of the government of Nicolas Maduro, which include the creation of the state of Guayana Esequiba as part of the Venezuelan territory, as well as a plan to grant Venezuelan citizenship to its inhabitants.
At the end of the day, the National Electoral Council (CNE) assured that 10,554,320 votes were computed, without clarifying if they correspond to the same number of voters or if 5 votes per voter are computed in reference to the 5 different questions.
