Police in Missouri chased a drunk driver who dragged an entire trailer house on his truck along a highway.

Footage shows the officers in pursuit of a 70ft-long home being towed by the vehicle through Excelsior Springs on Thanksgiving, November 23.

Excelsior Springs Police Sargeant Kyle Craven said: ‘He was travelling all over the roadway. We thought he might have been drunk.'

Despite attempts to stop the truck, which was moving at 30 mph, police were unsuccessful until the driver took a wild left turn at Cameron Road in Mosby.

The driver pulled the house through a culvert, causing a crash. They arrested the unidentified driver, who had hauled the house for more than 35 miles.
