A long wall covered in graffiti has become an unlikely selfie spot in northeast Thailand.

The 500-ft stretch of plain concrete was refurbished with colourful street art, transforming it into an Instagram-worthy hotspot in Nakhon Ratchasima province.

The vibrant mural - said to be the longest in the northeastern Isaan region - was created by more than 30 local and foreign artists for the K-Battle Graff Jam 2023 supported by Thailand's Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, Ministry of Culture.

Under the theme 'Day of Future, Day of Unity', the artists turned the wall lining Chainarong Road into their own canvas, drawing tourists to the newly unveiled landmark.

Among the visitors were Thai woman Ananya Khamnet, 31, and her Dutch boyfriend Julius Sistrat, 31, who travelled from Bangkok some 200 miles away to take their pre-nuptial photos in front of the mural.

The soon-to-be bride said: 'My boyfriend and I really like street art style images, and it's rare to see one this long. We are planning to get married on December 30. While searching for places with beautiful street art and graffiti to shoot our photos, we found this one in the city of Korat.

'My boyfriend especially likes the Bitcoin symbol since he said it fits very well in the digital age. Tourists and graffiti lovers will not be disappointed to come here.'
