Shoppers inside a mall were amazed by the sight of seven identical brothers - all dressed in matching clothing as they obediently followed after their parents.

The sight is even more amazing because, until recently, China had a one-child policy.

Phone footage shows the seven little boys, who appeared to be around three or four years old, and resembling Snow White's seven dwarves, walking in the middle of a shopping centre in Beijing, China's capital, on December 3.

They all wore identical red jackets, black trousers and the same shoes, and had similar short haircuts, looking remarkably alike and making it evident that they were siblings.

The seven looked like they were copy-pasted from one to the other, and their cute appearance attracted onlookers who wondered if they were septuplets.

However, some of the children seem slightly larger, suggesting their mother may have had the boys on different dates.

Local media reported that they are all siblings.

Many passersby seemingly could not help but stop and take photos of the adorable boys who were wide-eyed at their outdoor adventure and captured this rare moment on video.

One woman said she felt very moved after witnessing the rare scene. She said that the parents of these seven boys must work hard, but seeing the children grow up happily and healthily will make all the sacrifices worthwhile.
