STORYLINE:

30-year-old Liang Yuyin is a teacher working at Chongqing Normal University. She is also a sign language interpreter.

Since beginning to learn sign language at the age of 18, she has been helping serve the hearing-impaired with sign language for 12 years. 

Liang joined a sign language interpreter association at the university. Founded in 2009, it's a volunteer team of 200 sign language interpreters. 

They have offered sign language service activities for more than 5,000 times and helped more than 80,000 hearing-impaired people.

"Our hearing-impaired friends have been more and more involved in social activities, and they want to express their thoughts to others. Our job is to interpret their sign language into spoken language and to express what's on their mind to other people."
