Removing the ice and snow on airplanes by taking "hot shower" for them
Spectacular video of the stuff in airport taking “hot shower” for airplanes to get rid of the ice and snow causing by the cold weather.
The footage, filmed in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province last Sunday, shows the staffs are cleaning the ice and snow on airstrip and the ice and snow defrosting car is spraying the 50 degree hot water with the ice defrosting solvent in it on the plane.
According to local reports, for security reason, every part of the plane needs to be washed carefully, so it takes about half an hour to clean a plane thoroughly.
Because of the cold weather, several flights were delayed and more than a dozen flights were cancelled in Lukou airport.
