Alexei Navalny's team set up billboards across Russia urging residents to vote against Putin
Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny's team has set up billboards across the country urging residents to vote against Vladimir Putin in the 2024 elections.
Footage shows billboards in Moscow, St Petersburg, and Novosibirsk promoting the slogan "Russia without Putin" and the website neputin.org.
The website reads: "For Putin, the 2024 elections are a referendum on approval of his actions, on approval of the war. On March 17, Russia must realize that the majority does not want to see Putin at the head of the country.
"The voting results will be falsified, but our task is to make it obvious to everyone that Russia no longer needs Putin.
"No one will do this for us. Nobody will do it better than us."
Navalny, 47, is serving more than 30 years in prison after being found guilty of crimes including extremism. Charges his supporters believe are politically motivated.
