This is the dramatic moment a fireman deftly caught a killer python writhing in a car engine in Thailand.

Footage shows the officer using only one hand to grab the large reptile's mouth as it slithered out of the machinery of a pickup truck in Bangkok on March 14.

The truck owner said it took three firefighters to drag out the snake due to its size. It was later released back into its natural habitat.

The reticulated python is found throughout Southeast Asia, where they live in forests, swamps, canals and even in cities, causing them to come into conflict with humans. The species is one of the world's largest snakes and can eat humans, cats, dogs, birds, rats and other snakes.
