STORYLINE:
The 24th China-EU Summit was held in Beijing on Thursday. An expert of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) has called on both sides to put their agenda more on development.

"I'm expecting to see more political debate on how to work on common interest between the United States and China, but also between China and the European Union to avoid some factors to avoid some differences, not to speak about political issues, speak more about how to develop."

The expert also expressed his optimism towards China's economy based on China's opening up and reforms.

"One of the most important things when it comes to Chinese political economy is that they always show optimistic science, they set really optimistic goals, but also realistic to some extent. So I think that Chinese economists and politicians both set goal, which is achievable. So I have full confidence. We already see that globalization and opening-up in the reforms and the less barriers provide good results. Interventionism, closing or protectionism is not a good way for anybody."
