Uber driver rolls out literal red carpet for lady passengers
A pair of women on a night out in Leicestershire got a surprise royal treatment from the Uber driver who collected them.
The two friends were preparing to go out for drinks on November 3rd, when the Uber driver they called rolled out a red carpet he kept in his car's trunk for the two to enter on.
The filmer, Samantha Louise Miller, commented: "Me and my friend had a last minute plan to go to the White House Wetherspoons in Scraptoft, we booked our Uber via the app just as normal and waited for it to arrive, upon arrival we were told to wait as the Uber man had a “surprise for us beautiful ladies”, we grabbed our cameras not knowing what to expect!
As he went to his boot he grabbed something and started to lay it out in front of the car... it was a red carpet! He laid it out and proceeded to say “welcome to Uber taxi smart professional UK No. 1 and famous driver” we then did our catwalk into the taxi and our journey started!"
The music was our choice and he didn’t fail to make us laugh! We gave him a tip and 5 star rating and it’s definitely a ride I’ll never forget!"
