A driverless SUV rammed into a shop as the handbrake cable snapped, injuring 3 in southern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Panzhihua in Sichuan Province on November 29, shows a parked vehicle suddenly beginning to roll forward, crashing into a roadside shop.

The unexpected event resulted in minor injuries to three individuals and caused significant damage to several goods in the shop.

Upon thorough investigation, it was discovered that the owner of the vehicle, Chen, had parked it along the roadside to run an errand.

Tragically, due to a malfunction where the handbrake cable snapped, the vehicle began to move forward uncontrollably, leading to the accident.

Chen has been found fully responsible for the incident.
