Ireland: Thousands Of Mourners Gather For Shane MacGowan Funeral
On Friday, December 8, thousands of mourners gathered in Dublin for a public procession of the funeral of Shane MacGowan in County Tipperary, Ireland. MacGowan, a songwriter known as the lead vocalist of the London-Irish punk band 'The Pogues,' died at the age of 65 on November 30.
Some of his famous friends took part in the ceremony, including Nick Cave, Johnny Depp, and Irish President Michael D.
