Protest urges in London, UK Cop28 leaders to do more to tackle climate change

Protesters from Extinction Rebellion and other campaign groups joined a demonstration outside BP offices in London as part of a 'global day of action' calling for countries to tackle climate change, coinciding with the Cop28 climate summit in Dubai.
Protesters sought to link BP to Israel's war against Hamas in Gaza. In October BP was one of six companies awarded licenses for exploration near the Tamar and Leviathan gas fields, over 50 miles offshore. Protesters criticised BP's "desperation to profit off catastrophe".
