Romania on Sunday celebrated the "White Flowers" festival of traditions and customs at the Village Museum in Bucharest.
The festival is organized annually to present Christmas and New Year traditions to the public.
The event attracted folk artists and bands from across the country to the heart of the festivities, where they performed traditional songs and dances, praying for a New Year filled with safety and beauty.
The folk show featured artists adorned in traditional costumes, expressing their wishes for a prosperous harvest in the upcoming year through lively goat dances.
In the bear dance performance, artists painted their faces with a spectrum of colors or adorned masks while donning traditional bear skin costumes.
Accompanied by the rhythmic beating of snare drums, their jumps and dances created a whimsical and artful display, symbolizing prayers for blessings and protection against evil spirits.
