A well-behaved, obedient black Labrador dog showered with its owner to cool off on a hot day.

The two-year-old pooch named Azi enjoyed its bath time with Aiza Cuartiro in Davao City, Philippines, on November 26, when temperatures reached more than 30 degrees Celsius.

Footage shows the canine comfortably sitting on a monoblock chair while Aiza showered it with a hose outside their house.

Aiza grabbed the dog's paw signaling to hug her so she could wash its back. The adorable Lab followed the command and embraced its owner.

Aiza said: 'They love water so much, which is why, aside from walking, bathing them is one of our ways of bonding together.

'Azi is very sweet, has basic obedience and is the Alpha dog of the pack.'
