"It is an enhanced, balanced, but make no mistake, a historic package to accelerate climate action. It is the UAE consensus."

The deal stipulates a slew of measures to cope with climate change regarding adaptation, finance, flexibility, and fossil fuels, among others.

COP28, which summarizes the past and guides the future, is an important conference in the global climate process, with the first global stocktake of the Paris Agreement.

"China, in particular, has moved from the back seat, to the front seat on everything related to environment protection.
China is now leading the charge, both on the diplomatic front creating a green China, but also the technological front, bringing the tools for the green transformation."

"As a responsible major developing country, China has always adhered to the strategic determination of climate action. China's economic and social development has embarked on a comprehensive green transformation track.
