A timelapse filmed in the Swiss Alps caught several meteors of the Geminid Meteor Shower on the night of December 14th.

The video was filmed south of Simplon mountain pass, near Simplon village. Several bright Geminid meteors can be seen seen, some of them producing smoke trails.

much of Switzerland was cloudy , including my own valley, so I had to drive an hour to find myself in clear skies ( with northwind the south of the Alps often gets "rain shadow" , clear skies ).
