A stunned passenger on a subway train filmed this super-fit middle-aged woman as she did splits and challenging pull-ups on the handrails while awaiting her destination.

The unknown woman, dressed in a yellow plaid shirt and black sweatpants, was spotted on Subway Line 7, crossing through Wuhan, in Hubei Province, southern China.

Phone footage shared on Douyin, China's version of TikTok, on December 10, shows the incredibly agile woman showcasing various difficult fitness moves.

She used the handrails inside the subway car to suspend herself in the air and perform challenging moves like backflips, leaving nearby passengers in awe.

Later, she used the grab bars near the doors to keep herself balanced as she performed splits and did some arm stretching while in the challenging position.

The next day the Wuhan Subway Station (MON), issued a response, saying: 'It is not advisable to perform such dangerous moves inside the subway car, as it can affect both the safety of passengers and the person doing the exercises.'
