Dozens of passengers were hurt when a subway train split in Beijing, China on Thursday evening.
A 'vehicle malfunction' caused the last two cars of the Beijing subway train to detach on the Changping Line at around 7 pm on December 14.
Firefighters were at the scene to tend to the wounded locals. There were no fatalities while 30 people suffered injuries, state media reported.
The unaffected parts of the line remained operational.
The accident occurred during rush hour amid snowfall.
Beijing has been battered by snow since December 13. An orange alert - the third most severe in China's four-tier weather warning system - was raised for heavy snow.
