Tibetan spiritual leader H. Dalai lama has amidst tight security arrangements, Buddhist Bodhgaya reached Gaya airport by special flight on December 15 ( Friday).

Due to the arrival of Buddhist religious leader Dalai Lama, Buddhist devotees stood in queues for hours to get a glimpse of him and to have darshan. The Buddhist religious leader will participate in various programs during his stay of about a month in Bodh Gaya.

District Magistrate Thyaga Rajan said Buddhist religious leader Dalai Lama has arrived today. All arrangements have been made for his arrival. Detailed information will be given according to the way their programs will be scheduled. At present, nothing can be said clearly regarding the number of days of his stay in Bodh Gaya.

Strict security arrangements have been made for the arrival of Buddhist religious leader Dalai Lama in Bodh Gaya. Policemen have been deployed at every nook and corner from Gaya Airport to Bodh Gaya. Vigilance is being taken regarding security. Buddhist religious leader Dalai Lama will attend the International Sangha Forum program at Bodh Gaya Cultural Center on December 20, in which thousands of devotees from 30 countries will participate.

There will be a teaching program of Buddhist religious guru Dalai Lama at Kalachakra Ground in Bodh Gaya. The teaching program is being scheduled on 29, 30 and 31 December. Regarding this, the security arrangements of Kalachakra ground are also being strengthened. Buddhist devotees from dozens of countries will participate in the teaching program of Buddhist religious guru Dalai Lama and listen to the sermon of the Buddhist religious guru.
