Rescue attempt gone awry: roof fall after friend's risky climb
In a daring attempt to assist a friend stranded on a rooftop, Chris Mawson of Toms River, New Jersey, USA, found himself in an unexpected turn of events. A video shared by @chris_mawson on March 14, 2023, captured the moment when his friend, who had climbed onto the roof without a ladder, jumped in an effort to be safely lowered by Mawson. Unfortunately, the well-intentioned rescue took an unexpected twist, leading to both individuals falling. Mawson later explained, "My friend climbed on the roof without a ladder and needed help getting down."
