Self-taught Parrot Grooves with Strong Sense of Rhythm Amuses People in China
In eastern China, the feeder of an Agapornis parrot featured the bird Xiuxiu dancing to its own rhythm.
Filmed on December 9 in Jiangsu Province, accompanied by Chinese hit song, Wiping Glass, the video showcases cute dance moves of Xiuxiu.
According to its owner, this male parrot learns the dance by itself. Xiuxiu enjoys eating seed-based food but doesn't fancy sunflower seeds (perhaps because they're too much trouble to eat) and has a penchant for nibbling on computers (possibly because they're expensive and fun to chew on).
