Wet paper morphs into blade and egg transforms into hammer in bone-chilling weather in northern China
A piece of wet paper morphed into a blade and an egg transformed into a hammer in the bone-chilling 41 Celsius Degrees in northern China.
The video was filmed in Daxing'anling Prefecture in Heilongjiang Province on December 16.
A local resident Liu Baolin seized the opportunity to showcase the extreme cold's transformative power. Armed with a simple A4 sheet of paper, Liu submerged it in water only to witness a rapid and astonishing metamorphosis. The once innocuous piece of paper morphed into a razor-sharp knife as a thin layer of ice encased it. With swift precision, Liu wielded his newfound icy tool, effortlessly slicing through a cucumber, the frozen blade proving itself an unexpectedly effective kitchen utensil.
Meanwhile, Tahe County resident Wang Yunfei took the icy experimentation to a whole new level. In an extraordinary display of the cold's grip, she revealed a seemingly ordinary chicken egg. However, within moments, the egg underwent a deep freeze, transforming into an unexpected and formidable iron hammer.
Astonishing onlookers, Wang then took advantage of this frozen marvel to drive a nail into a wooden plank, leaving the egg miraculously unscathed.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
