In a dramatic turn of events, 21-year-old Kya Evans from Careau, Wales, crashed into a van while illegally riding his stolen motorbike. The off-duty officer, en route to work, witnessed the incident, arrested Evans, and discovered crack, heroin, cash, and two phones in his possession.

Police footage reveals the collision and Evans falling off his bike, assisted by balaclava-clad individuals who fled the scene. Another man, brandishing weapons, was arrested for affray after threatening the officer.

On December 11th, Cardiff Crown Court sentenced Evans to three years in prison after he pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply crack and heroin. Detective Inspector Tim Jones commended the officer's dedication and thanked the public for their assistance, emphasizing the force's commitment to combating county lines drug dealing.
