Driver crashes through family's property but leaves outhouse untouched
A driver who dramatically rammed through a brick wall before crashing into a family's house avoided damaging the outhouse.
Surveillance footage shows the driver struggling to maintain control of the vehicle after they reportedly slid down an icy road in the city of Tongliao, in the Inner Mongolia region, northern China, on December 11.
In the failed attempt to stay on the road, the driver suddenly smashed through the brick wall of a family's farm and eventually ended up ramming into their house.
The driver, not identified in local media, was going too fast to be able to travel safely along the icy road.
After the vehicle started skidding, the driver said it was already too late to change direction despite their desperate attempts.
Local media revealed that there were no casualties, as the property's owners were not in the yard at the time of the crash.
The owner jokingly praised the motorist for 'at least sparing the outhouse',
