University students comfort tearful trembling stray dog on campus as 6.2-magnitude earthquake occurs in China

While dodging the earthquake disaster, university students encountered and comforted a stray dog in northwest China.

The video was filmed in the City of Lanzhou in Gansu Province on December 19.

The students offered reassurance and comforted the dog with the words: "It's okay, it's okay, I'm here with you."

Displaying empathy, these students sought to provide comfort and a sense of security to the distressed stray dogs affected by the earthquake.

According to local reports, on December 18th at 23:59, a 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck Jishishan County in the Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, which has resulted in 113 fatalities, 536 injuries, and the destruction of 155,393 houses in Jishishan County, Gansu.

Furthermore, the earthquake has affected neighboring Qinghai Province, with residents in Haidong City and Menyuan County experiencing strong tremors.
