An inexperienced snowboarder injured several people as he uncontrollably hurtled down a ski slope.

The man, whose identity was not disclosed, wiped out multiple slope users when he lost control and slid down the ski run at the Shaanxi Baoji Aoshan Ski Resort, in Shaanxi, north-western China.

Footage recorded by terrified skiers shows him speeding down the slope on December 10, and knocking down several people before he fell on the ground.

In a second video, he can be seen moaning with pain following the accident. He was later picked up by emergency crews and taken to an ambulance.

Resort representatives told local media that the man was sent to the hospital that day and is recovering.

A company spokesperson confirmed the incident two days later, and said that they are investigating it internally.
