People have been killed and injured at a shooting at a school in Prague, Czech Republic, police say.
Officers said there was an unspecified number of dead and wounded, and that the gunman had been “eliminated”.
“Based on initial information we can confirm there are dead and injured people at the site,” police said on social media.
They said officers were deployed due to a shooting at a school in Jan Palach Square.
The Philosophical Faculty of Charles University and the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design are located in that area.
Police gave no details about the victims or the circumstances of the shooting in the Czech Republic’s capital
