The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) shared helmet cam footage showcasing the Counterterrorism (Lotar) Unit in action in the Beit Hanoun area and Shejaiya in the Gaza Strip.

In Beit Hanoun, Lotar Unit soldiers identified a terrorist emerging from a tunnel shaft, firing shots to lure forces towards planted explosives. Responding strategically, soldiers neutralized the threat from a distance, subsequently destroying the tunnel shaft.

In Shejaiya, 188th Brigade soldiers engaged in close-quarters combat with a terrorist squad at a school, uncovering a significant underground shaft. The terrorists attempted an ambush with explosives, met with the soldiers' decisive response, including tank fire and UAV support, leading to the elimination of the threat. The IDF continues to actively combat terrorism in the region.
