Massive fire engulfs Moreno Valley store, injuring two with an ongoing investigation in CA, USA

At approximately 5:25 pm on the 20th of December in the 24500 block of Alessandro Blvd, Moreno Valley, a 10,000 square-foot retail commercial structure became engulfed in flames. Firefighters, responding to multiple reports, encountered a well-established fire upon arrival, with heavy smoke visible from the roof. Due to the intensity, a third alarm was triggered, causing significant traffic impacts in the vicinity of Alessandro Blvd, Indian Ave, and Jenkins St.

Two patients, evaluated by paramedics, have been transported to a local hospital. As of 7:10 pm, firefighters are still battling the fire, and resources are expected to remain on the scene for approximately 4 hours. The fire was contained at 8:45 pm, with ongoing efforts for salvage and overhaul. The cause is under investigation, and residents are advised to avoid the area during these operations.
