SOUNDBITE (English): LIU ZINAN, SVP of Royal Caribbean Group & Chairman of Royal Caribbean Cruises, Asia
"Next year, we will deploy the largest cruise ship in Asia, Spectrum of the Seas, to sail from Shanghai and Hong Kong to the neighboring countries, including Japan and (South) Korea. I think the confidence level of international cruise industry is increasing, as (Chinese) government emphasized the open-door policy and maintains and improves the business environment.
In the past, I think the average age of the customers booking our cruises is about 40 years old. Now we see the younger generation also is interested in taking cruise holidays. So these are very obvious changes."
Xinhua News Agency correspondents reporting from Shanghai, China.
