In a heartwarming initiative, Colorado Parks and Wildlife's Southeast Region, along with Santa's elves, embarked on a special mission to deliver holiday cheer to Colorado Springs kids on behalf of the annual Toys for Tots drive organized by the USMC. Santa's elves, equipped with Elbert and plenty of lights, didn't need Rudolph's nose to light the way as they brought joy to the community.

Expressing a deep commitment beyond wildlife, CPW staff actively participate in community events like Shop with a Cop, supporting disadvantaged youth. Last year, the Colorado Springs CPW team collaborated with the USMC Toys for Tots toy drive, and this Wednesday, they continued the tradition.

The true magic unfolded as smiles, high-fives, and hugs filled the air. CPW, adopting a Colorado Springs family, ensured that each of the seven children received around seven gifts from their wish lists. The CPW team not only picked up and wrapped the gifts but also personally delivered the bundles of joy, creating lasting memories for the holiday season.
