Brave firefighters in Xinjiang, China, showcased their skills as they climbed steep cliffs to rescue 14 sheep that had strayed and become trapped in the mountains. The shepherd sought help from local authorities, and on November 27, the Xiyu Road Fire Rescue Station initiated a rescue operation. Facing challenging terrain, the rescue personnel used drones for reconnaissance and identified the trapped sheep on a steep slope. After three hours of climbing, they reached the location, anchored themselves securely, and used rope descent to drive the sheep to safety. The successful eight-hour operation saved the herdsman from significant losses, and he expressed deep gratitude to the rescuers.
