A 'drug-crazed' local sparked alarm when he took a stroll around town stark naked in Thailand.

The man strode along streets barefoot, shocking drivers as he displayed his privates in public in Khon Kaen province on December 21.

He then made his way to the Khon Kaen Provincial Police Station and startled vendors selling food near the police cafeteria.

Officers saw the naked man and brought a towel to protect his modesty. However, he kept removing it and insisted that he be arrested for public obscenity.

Police said they suspected the lad of being under the influence of narcotics.

Rescue volunteers provided him with clothes and contacted his relatives to pick him up.

Under Section 388 of Thailand's Criminal Code, 'any person who performs such a disgraceful act in public by undressing himself, exhibiting his undressed person or committing any other act of obscenity shall be liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred baht.'
