Czech Republic is observing a day of national mourning on Saturday following the worst peacetime shooting in the country's history, which left 14 dead and dozens wounded at Prague's Charles University.
Among the victims were several young students, a beloved professor and a respected department head. The government ordered flags to fly at half-mast and said a minute's silence would be observed at noon across the country.
