Last week, the Kfir Brigade Combat Team joined forces with the soldiers of the 98th Division in the ongoing fight in the Khan Yunis area. Guided by intelligence, the soldiers conducted operational activities, eliminating Hamas cells with the support of artillery, air, and armored forces.

In their efforts, the soldiers discovered ready-to-use explosives and destroyed buildings rigged with explosives. Numerous weapons and tunnel shafts were also located in the area. Notably, the soldiers found a doll dressed in an olive green one-piece snowsuit, seemingly an attempt by Hamas to deceive IDF soldiers.

During the operations, the Combat Team found weapons concealed in a child's bedroom, including grenades, vests, firearms, cartridges, and intelligence materials. Additionally, a laboratory for producing explosive devices was located.
