Deputies Rescue Disoriented Woman in Woods in Flagler County, USA

In a swift response to a distress call on Tuesday night, deputies from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office located a missing woman in the woods near County Road 305 and County Road 2006 West. The caller reported hearing cries for help, and the woman had also been captured on hunting trail cameras in the area.
Upon arrival at 7:20 pm, deputies, aided by Flagler County Fire Rescue's thermal imaging camera, identified the general location of the woman's distress. Following an hour-long search, they discovered the disoriented woman and her dog in the brush. Collaborating with Flagler County Fire Rescue firefighters, deputies safely extracted her from the woods.
The rescued woman, visibly cold and disoriented, received immediate medical attention, being subsequently transported to the hospital. Her dog was entrusted to a family member.
