Yara Ibrahim, a staffer with the Cairo-based Wisdom House for Cultural Industries, recalled her trip to China in 2018.

She said China's economic progress and social development have impressed her a lot.

"My name is Yara Ibrahim. I'm 26 years old. I'm the education department manager at Wisdom House for Cultural Industries.
I traveled to China in 2018. I was a sophomore student at the time and I just started to learn the Chinese language.
For me, it was a different experience because it changed my way of thinking completely.
I was very impressed by the standard of living there, the social and technological aspects, and the people's respect for the laws.
Before the trip, I thought China was an ordinary country, I never imagined that it had such a large scope of economic progress.
The economic growth in China has taken a great leap, which people call the Chinese miracle.
China has worked on all aspects of economic development and opening up to the world.
Traveling to China was a unique experience. The highly advanced means of transportation, the excellent infrastructure, and the kindness of the people impressed me a lot.
The Chinese people are persistent and hardworking people who are passionate about work and life. The Chinese government and the people want more progress for their country, and they have worked hard together to reach that goal.
The government works hard to ensure a decent life for the Chinese people, especially in the social and health sectors.
I felt safe in China. Sometimes, I went out at 2 a.m. and never had any problems or felt scared.
To me, China is the fascinating embodiment of miracles and progress in all fields."
