The annual container throughput of Beibu Gulf Port in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region exceeded 8 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) on Sunday.
The growth rate has maintained double-digit growth for seven consecutive years, ranking among the forefront of major coastal ports in the country.
In recent years, the acceleration of the construction of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor and the entry into force of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) have brought major opportunities for the high-quality development of the Beibu Gulf Port.
