In a significant operation in the Gaza Strip, the 460th Brigade of the IDF has achieved a milestone by gaining control of terrorist infrastructure concealed within the residence of Hamas' Gaza Brigade Commander. Operating extensively in central combat zones, including areas like Shati, the 'Security Quarter,' Jabaliya, and Daraj Tuffah, the brigade conducted a targeted raid resulting in the seizure of the Hamas commander's residence.

During the operation, special forces were deployed to scan the area, engaging in close-quarters combat that led to the elimination of numerous Hamas operatives. The troops discovered and destroyed tunnel shafts, uncovered substantial weapons caches, and found intelligence materials linking the central Daraj Tuffah Mosque to the October 7th massacre.

Colonel Dvir Edri, the Commanding Officer of the 460th Brigade, highlighted the successful completion of the mission in the Daraj Tuffah area. He emphasized the determination and courage exhibited by the brigade during its two-month operation in the Gaza Strip, where hundreds of Hamas members were neutralized, and significant Hamas infrastructure was destroyed.
