The footage shows Russian paratroopers destroying Ukrainian military equipment using 'Lancet' drones in the Kherson Region.

Aerial footage from the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) shows drones targeting what appear to be military vehicles reportedly belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the right bank of the Dnieper River.

The Russian MoD said in a statement: 'Units and military units of the Airborne Troops, part of the task force 'Dnieper,' daily eliminate and disable the combat and special equipment of Ukrainian formations on the right bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region.

'Using the reconnaissance drones of the Russian task force, a self-propelled unit 2S1 'Gvozdika,' a cargo truck, and a tank of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were detected on the right bank of the Dnieper.

'To destroy them, the command of the unit decided to use barrage munitions 'Lancet,' which were launched by the drone operators of the 'winged infantry.'

'Professionally and skillfully managing the 'Lancets', the drone operators directly hit and disabled the enemy's combat and special equipment.

'The search and destruction of enemy equipment were carried out during the night using thermal imaging systems equipped with modern means of monitoring and defeating the enemy.

'After completing the combat mission, the units promptly withdrew to a safe area.'
