Quick-thinking rescuers use child's cheesecake to save dog from icy waters
In a swift and unconventional rescue operation in Orel, Russia, on December 23, 2023 quick-thinking rescuers employed an unexpected tool to save a dog from icy waters. When the canine ventured onto thin ice and fell into the frigid water, the Ministry of Emergency Situations was summoned to the scene. Assessing the situation, the rescuers turned to local children for assistance and, remarkably, utilized a child's cheesecake. With this makeshift device, a rescuer managed to reach the struggling dog and pull it to the surface. The exhausted but safe dog was promptly returned to its owner.
