Serious motorcycle-truck collision in Adygea leaves three injured, unlicensed rider involved
A serious accident occurred in Adygea, Russia, on November 20, 2023, involving a motorcycle and a truck. The incident took place around 17:00 on 2nd Korotkaya Street in the Republican Center of Maykop. The collision transpired when a 58-year-old local resident driving a UAZ-3303 failed to yield while making a left turn, colliding with a motorcycle operated by a 33-year-old Maikop resident. The motorcyclist sustained various injuries and was rushed to the Adyghe Republican Clinical Hospital in serious condition. The truck driver, along with a 43-year-old passenger from Maykop, also suffered injuries and was hospitalized. Further investigation revealed that the motorcycle owner did not possess a valid license. The authorities are currently establishing the circumstances surrounding the incident, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Adygea.
