Sandra Halaholo, recounting a heartwarming gesture from their neighbor Aled, expressed immense gratitude for the unexpected and touching Christmas surprise bestowed upon her daughters. Aled, with whom the Halaholo family had developed a close bond, decided to delight the girls with new scooters, a thoughtful gift born from a conversation about Christmas presents.

"My daughters spent a lot of time out in the yard on their scooters during the summer," Sandra shared, explaining the worn-out condition of the girls' beloved scooters during a chat with Aled about their holiday wish list. Moved by Sandra's mention of the worn-out scooters, Aled generously offered to purchase new ones for the girls.

However, due to physical limitations, Aled sought assistance from another neighbor to assemble the scooters for Sandra's daughters. His thoughtful act, driven by kindness and consideration, extended beyond the material gifts, offering invaluable friendship, wise counsel, and companionship to Sandra's family.

Our neighbour Aled who we’ve grown quite close to surprised our daughters with scooters for Christmas. My daughters spent a lot of time out in the yard on their scooters during the summer. As I was having a chat with him about Christmas presents. I mentioned wanting to buy the girls new scooters as they had used them so much they were worn out.

Aled kindly asked if he could purchase them instead. With his condition he was unable to put the scooters together and received help from another neighbour to put them together for the girls.

Aled, knowing the tough time we’ve had as a family this year. He blessed my daughters and my family. Not only with new scooters but with friendship, wise council and company.

We both spent Christmas without our extended family members but being able to share our Christmas morning together was special. A moment we will always cherish.
