Five-month-old Layanna shocked her mother Jaliyah as the pair recorded themselves performing a singing challenge to Usher's "Superstar".

As the mother, 28, finished her rendition, the toddler responded with her version, leaving her mum stunned.

Jaliyah told Newsflare: "I decided to pull out my iPhone and record. I sang the intro, and so surprisingly, Layanna tried to mock my singing and she actually executed it perfectly. I was so shocked that it made me giggle, as you can see at the end of the video.

"I sing to Layanna daily, and sometimes Layanna sings to herself on her own. I knew that once I posted on TikTok, it would probably get like 1,000 views. I had no idea that the video would get almost 7 million views and I gained 24,000 new followers.

"Who had any idea that a simple precious moment with my baby would blow the world away like that? I’ve had a few celebrities, even EGOT winner, Viola Davis, share it. It was also posted on The Shade Room’s Instagram page.

"I’m patiently still waiting on Usher’s response lol."

Baby Layanna (5 months old) and I (Jaliyah - 28) from Warner Robins, Georgia were in bed one Thursday night at 9:51 PM just playing around.

I started singing the intro to pop star Usher’s song - Superstar. The “Usher challenge” had already been a viral thing.. friends and families were doing the challenge for holiday gatherings and parties..

I decided to pull out my Iphone and record. I sang the intro, and so surprisingly, Layanna tried to mock my singing and she actually executes it perfectly. I was so shocked that it made me giggle, as you can see at the ending of the video.
